Jacques du Toit

Jacques’ experience in the tennis industry is extensive. Coached by Jacobus Swanepoel, who has also coached Bethanie Matek-Sands and Wayne Montgomery, Jacques rose to the top junior ranks in South Africa as the #3 ranked player. He later went on to captain the Junior National Team and receive a scholarship to Oklahoma St University.
During his collegiate years and upon graduating, Jacques took time to work with junior national teams in South Africa. He also played and coached in the Austrian Club League in Europe. On the Davis Cup and professional front, he worked with world top 10 doubles players, doubles grand slam champions and Olympic medalists including David Adams, Gary Muller, Neil Broad, and Craig Tiley.
After holding positions as Head Tennis Professional and Director of Tennis in several Westchester based tennis clubs, Jacques founded Synergy Tennis and its Global Teaching philosophy.

Owner and Junior Program Director
Julien grew up in Greenwich, CT and competed in junior USTA tournaments in the Eastern section. Playing for Greenwich High School, he captained the team to consecutive state championships in 2005 and 2006, twice winning the state doubles tournament. Julien went on to play at McGill University where he played #2 singles and doubles.
Before founding Synergy Tennis, Julien was an assistant pro at Grand Slam Tennis Club and lead assistant at Round Hill Club from 2012-2016, where he directed the junior program.
Julien’s experience coaching competitive juniors is broad-ranging, having worked with young aspiring talents to top nationally and internationally ranked players. Since founding Synergy, he has led the bottom-up development of the junior program and continues to work closely coaching some of the top college recruits in the country.
